How cleansing your cleaning supplies?
It seems logical that to keep your home clean, you need clean utensils, great cleaning products, and an efficient cleaning routine.
Cleaning a vacuum cleaner
Empty bag or reusable cup - I recommend giving the reusable cup a monthly wash using hot water and a bit of pour nous dish soap.
Clean beater bar - remove any tangled hairs or threads from the beater bar. Clean the hoses and change disposable filters or wash reusable filters.
Cleaning a mop
Remember to thoroughly clean the mop after every use.
Just throw it in the washing machine with other fabrics.
If the mop is not removable, leave the mop to soak for 15 minutes in warm water with a bit of pour nous laundry detergent, then move it up and down in the water. Rinse thoroughly in hot water and allow to dry.
Cleaning a broom
First, tap away the dirt outside. Next, dip the broom in a bucket with hot water and a bit of pour nous dish soap, swishing it from side to side about six times, then rinse it under cold water. Leave to dry.
Cleaning sponges and brushes
Clean these the same way as a broom. However, if you have wooden brushes, don’t soak them in water; just dip them in.
Sponges are the same as for a reusable mop, pop them in the washing machine, and they will be fine.
Cleaning a dish brush
You can clean the brush once a week in the dishwasher.
Cleaning a toilet brush
Rinse the toilet brush in the toilet bowl by flushing and rinse the brush bucket with warm water. Let the toilet brush sit on the bucket to dry, don’t put it back in right away. Humid areas are active breeding grounds for bacteria.
Washing cotton and microfiber cloths
Both can go in the washing machine; however, do the microfiber at medium temperature while the cotton can be washed at high temperatures.
Cleaning a bucket
After your cleaning routine, simply rinse the bucket in warm water and scrub it with a brush or sponge and some pour nous dish soap. Rinse and leave it to dry.
