How to wash towels?
After all, doesn't everyone love clean towels? I'm a bit peculiar about towels... I'm sure I'm not the only one though, right?
Towels need to be hygienically clean, free of detergent residue and stains, and they need to be soft!
I change my towels after using them three times. Martha Stewart does the same thing, by the way.
So, how do you wash towels?
- Don't pack the machine too full, the towels still need to be able to move and turn in the drum.
- Use liquid detergent, which dissolves better and leaves no residue.
- Select a 60° wash cycle to eliminate all bacteria, and a spin cycle of at least 1400.
- If the towels smell after washing, then you probably didn't wash them hot enough. Or you put them in the closet while they were still damp. If so, towels will also smell.
- Towels dry best in the dryer, through the constant movement the towels also do not become stiff and hard, but remain nice and soft.
Clean and soft towels what more could you ask for!
